In this session we only provide general information and not personalised medical advice. We will not accept any liability arising from this consultation or any information provided to you as a result of it. Always consult your own GP if you’re in any way concerned. We have systems in place to maintain security and confidentiality. We store information in secure conditions. We may occasionally publish research or statistics about health at work generally. When we do this, it will be compiled from data that does not refer to named individuals and is acquired from many organisations.

When you have any of these conditions, either do not book a massage or please cancel:
- Fever
- Contagious diseases, no matter how mild it may seem
- Under the influence of drugs or alcohol-including prescription pain medication
- Recent operations or acute injuries
- Neuritis
- Skin diseases

- Undiagnosed lumps or bumps
- Pregnancy
- Bruising
- Cuts
- Abrasions
- Sunburn
- Undiagnosed pain
- Inflammation, including arthritis

As with all exercise programmes, you need to use common sense. To reduce and avoid injury, you may want to check with your doctor before beginning any programme. By performing any stretches and exercises, you are performing them at your own risk. Tonic will not be responsible or liable for any injury or harm you sustain as a result of our 1-2-1’s, online exercise or mobility sessions, or information shared on our website and via our app. This includes emails, videos, notifications, and text. Thanks for your understanding.
MINDFUL MOVEMENT & MEDITATION SERVICES
By participating in any Tonic mindful movement and/or meditation sessions you hereby agree to the following –
- You recognise that mindful movement and meditation can involve some exertion and you are fully aware of the risks involved.
- You assume full responsibility for any risk, injury, or damages, known or unknown which you might incur.
- You declare that you are physically able, and you have no medical condition which would prevent your full participation in this session.
- You knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any claim you may have against Tonic for injury or damages that you may sustain as a result the session. If you feel unwell at any point you will stop immediately and consult with your GP.

It is important to recognise that this session covers material which you may find emotionally upsetting. Your self-care is important and your safety throughout is our priority.
- Don’t do or say anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.
- If you feel that you need to step away at any point in the session you can step out at any time.
- If you need to take more than a 10-15 minute break from the sessions, or you will not be re-joining the session, please let the Tonic practitioner know.
We would also like you to identify someone who could potentially support you during or after the session if you need it. If you are attending with people that you know, then you may want to buddy up with them. Please take some time to identify this person before the session starts.
