HELEN

NUTRITIONIST

HELEN JAMES

Holistic Health Practitioner, BANT Registered Nutritional Therapist and NLP Coach

Hi, I’m Helen James and I started HJ Nutrition in 2017 to help and educate individuals and groups about the relationship with food, health, and hormones.

I have a Post-Graduate Diploma from Middlesex University in Personalised Nutrition and studied Nutritional Therapy at CNELM in Wokingham.

I have been delivering workshops and talks either in person or online for several years. I have a wealth of knowledge on many health-related topics, all helping to boost employee wellbeing. We all know a healthy happy workforce drives productivity, sales, and loyalty, hence my work with Becca and the Tonic team.

Food and nutrition are intrinsic to health but there is a basic lack of education around what we should be eating.   Instead, our choices are driven by clever marketing, and convenience as we believe we are time poor.

I have the professional knowledge, tools, and experience to help you on your journey to good health and living life to the full. I want to share my knowledge of nutrition science to educate you on what foods provide the best health benefits, to listen to your bodies and become more self-aware and connected to your physical, mental, and emotional energy.

Diet and lifestyle are major factors in chronic disease prevention and progression, but they are in our control.

My work with Tonic enables me to work 1-2-1 and with groups of professionals / leaders and employees across the board, teaching nutrition and suggesting healthier meals and snacks. Our programmes work holistically with food, portion sizes, boosting nutrients and balanced meals. We help you with your mindset encouraging positive behaviours and new healthy habits. We want you to be the HEALTHIEST and HAPPIEST version of yourself.

If you are looking for ideas why not book a lunch and learn, or a half day, to discuss topics such as:

  • Energy and afternoon fatigue
  • Brain fog, memory, and cognition
  • Weight management
  • Menopause and andropause
  • Insomnia, sleep, and resilience
  • Stress and anxiety management through diet and lifestyle choices.
