World Mental Health Day is held on the 10th of October every year. It is a day for mental health education and awareness and towards removing all social stigma. Each year the day carries a theme, this year it focuses on “Young people and mental health in a changing world”.
Here at Tonic, we believe that we all have a pivotal role to play in making sure employees make use of the support available to them, so that staff can manage and protect their mental health in the same way as their physical health.
NEW for 2018/2019 we are running in-house Mental Health Awareness workshops, MHFA training days as well as some bespoke interactive line-managers training sessions.
In addition, our hugely popular confidential 1-2-1 health check sessions also focus on both mental and physical health risk factors. These sessions are often an effective shoehorn into other lifestyle challenges that may be affecting an employee’s emotional wellbeing and their performance. And best of all (according to some staff feedback) we offer de-stress massage, reiki, indian head massage and reflexology – all of which not only are great employee rewards / incentives, they can assist with a variety of physical and emotional concerns too!
