The important note here is that (a) you actually do it and (b) on a regular basis. From the confines of a bed, your desk – indeed anyplace where negative emotions, stress and anxiety finds its way, consider some breathing exercises to help keep calm, relax and carry on!

Happiness is something that we all strive to achieve.

As human beings I think we can all accept the facts that: (a) life is short and busy, and also that (b) unhappiness makes our lives difficult. We all know that our habits have a big impact on the quality of life that we live; and more specifically that these habits directly impact our happiness or lack thereof!! (Just to make a clear distinction, there is a strong difference between clinical depression and chronic unhappiness. Depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain, while unhappiness is a disposition that is often acquired through how we choose to live our lives).
